Apps have a wide variety of use. When I was going through anatomy and physiology I & II, I found an app to learn the skeletal system. It would put a pin on a certain bone and you had to guess it. It would also do it in the reverse fashion where it would say a bone and you had to put the pin in the correct spot. You were also playing against a running clock and you received points for quickness and accuracy. I do not recall that particulars apps name but some other A&P apps that I have used in the past are IMAIOS e-Anatomy, Grays Anatomy Student Edition, and Human Anatomy!.
As far as apps are concerned I feel that the sky is the limit. It seems like there is an app for everything now a days. And I also believe that apps could be an awesome tool in education especially if it was fun. I am not sure the extent to which these apps work but if some how the teacher was able to see which student logged in to these apps and see each students progress or to just even see if the students are participating in such activities could be very beneficial.
